How strange! I have been following this principle in my worklife but I used to think that it was a waste of time! But I found that I was able to work better if I did so, so I have kept to it.
But I find a problem creating space. Although I know it is important, the idea of setting time aside for meditation or journalling seems too much to ask in a workplace where the byword is hustle, hustle, hustle. But it seems that I have to carve out the time if I want long-term success instead of short-term gain. So here’s to a more productive use of my time from now on!
